In Photos: Breez Party Kicks Off Mobile Fashion and Home Decor Marketplace
Breez is a new style marketplace for all things home and fashion.
Local fashionistas, media and tastemakers flocked to an uber-chic warehouse party in Vancouver’s Armoury District last week to celebrate the launch of Breez, a new mobile app that’s supposed to be a more up-market and Instagram-like virtual shop for everything home, fashion and lifestyle.
Blitzoo Interactive, a product development studio here in Vancouver, officially released Breez on June 23 to connect local community members (just Vancouver so far) to browse items they love with the guarantee of insider knowledge. Once a profile is created users can snap, post and share information with other members. You can also style-stalk your favourite trendsetters and shop their closets online.
Susie Wall, Canadian style expert and Breez creative director, says, “We created Breez because we all have a surplus of stuff—home and fashion items that we would consider selling if the process was easy.”
Breez also opened a physical location for Breezers to stage their swaps that’s safe, public and good-looking to boot (1633 West 2nd Ave., Vancouver)—you can see the white-brick warehouse trading post with the charming black industrial pendant lights in the photos below.
