Harvest Haus Returns: Celebrate Oktoberfest in (Mini) Munich
Get ready for six days and six nights of overflowing German Bierkrugs and long table dinners featuring Michelin-starred Chef Stefan Hartmann.
In what is promising to be a most jubilant German affair, Harvest Haus is taking over Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza October 1 to 3 and October 9 to 11—and turning it into a mini Munich complete with medieval minstrelsy, Bavarian brass oompah bands, live DJs and a sawdust-sprinkled dance floor. Oh, and a ton of European food and bev.
Find the latter flowing into authentic ceramic Bierkrugs (or steins), and even German vino will be on offer for the wine lovers. Michelin-starred Chef Stefan Hartmann of Bauhaus Restaurant is also set to join forces with local German vendors for a traditional Oktoberfest feast of spatzle, brezen, bratwurst, schnitzel and more.
As a special treat to Western Living readers, Chef Stefan is sharing his recipe for käsespätzle, also known as German Mac and Cheese.
