More than 250 oenophiles were among the first to sip and savour Naramata Bench’s spring wine releases at Wine For Waves, a wine-tasting and auction benefit in support of the Vancouver Aquarium’s Ocean Wise Program. Held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Ocean Wise Program Manager Ann-Marie Copping welcomed a fashionable crowd to the delicious evening of wining and dining. Always a must-attend affair, the sold-out event brought together B.C.’s best wineries and sustainable seafood restaurants for a night of fun and fundraising.
The Vancouver Aquarium’s Alix Cameron, Alexis Brown and Deana Lancaster welcomed oenophiles to the marine centre’s Wine for Waves tipple fest.
Fisheries economist Wilf Swartz, Ocean Wise research analyst Laurenne Schiller, and Ocean Wise coordinator Tania Leon took in the Naramata Bench wine tasting in support of the Vancouver Aquarium.
CBC food and wine reviewer Gail Johnson and Western Living Editor-in-Chief Anicka Quin sipped and savoured some of the Naramata Bench’s spring wine releases.

The Trialto Wine Group‘s Stacey MacBride and Darlene Winterburn, executive director of the BC Shellfish Grower’s Association, enjoyed an evening of wining and dining that brought together B.C.’s best wineries and sustainable seafood restaurants.
Bert Hicks and his wife Tina Rowntree will once again chair the Marine Centre’s flagship fundraiser Night at the Aquarium on June 23.
Darren Clay of the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts was among the culinary talents that participated in the annual affair.
