Gucci is Getting in on the Home Decor Game

Forgive us, but we’re so frickin’ excited.

Gucci is on a tear these days. The classic Italian fashion house known for their horsebit loafers and green interlocking G motif announced yesterday via Instagram that they’re getting into home decor. And while that once would have meant staid but luxurious offerings like branded cashmere throws, ever since the crazy genius, Alessandro Michele (below), took over as creative director a few years back, restraint is out the window and an over-the-top ethos of luxury and mayhem has brought Gucci back to top of the fashion world.

The line will be available online and at select Gucci boutiques—and while there’s no word yet on pricing, feel to extrapolate how much a chair might cost considering this nylon backpack is $2,365.
