Slushy Lime Margarita

There’s no better drink to accompany your taco dinner than a margarita. For a smokier flavour, Chef Madrigal suggests swapping the tequila for mezcal.

Ingredients

2 oz fresh lime juice

1 oz Cointreau

1 oz agave syrup

4 oz tequila or mezcal

¾ cup to 1 cup ice cubes

Fresh lime slices for garnish

Preparation

1. Combine all ingredients and blend until ice reaches a smooth and slushy consistency.

2. Serve immediately and garnish with a fresh slice of lime.
