Designers Share their Fave Wood Accessories

Six Western Canadian designers show us what it means to bring the outdoors inside…literally.

Whether it’s Scandinavian design or our own West Coast influence, wood is an irreplaceable look in any home. The texture alone reminds us of the great outdoors, but without the cold and wet embrace of a rainy day. Here are some picks from local designers who celebrate the natural look for its comforting, sustainable and timeless feel.

3. Kaj Bojesen Collection for Kit

“One of my favourites for kids and adults! I tend to always find a way to incorporate whimsical objects into the interiors I work on, and this one makes me smile overtime. It’s a classic, hand-crafted wooden toy that can be cherished and passed on in your family. You can even purchase a Christmas hat for this little guy!”Elena Del Bucchia, Elena Del Bucchia Design
