Photos: Kate Duncan’s Address Design Show Now Open
And we got one of the first looks. See it for yourself, now through May 8.
Address launched last night, and we have a big problem with it: we couldn’t bring everything home.
At the third annual showcase of West Coast designers at the Waterfall Building, curator (and talented designer in her own right) Kate Duncan brings together a collective of locally produced furniture and decor that together form the makings of a dream home. Explore the curated offerings at the pop-up shop/gallery for yourself this weekend—the limited-engagement show runs through May 8, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Sculptural light fixtures from Propellor hang above various home tableaus.
The goodies—all from Vancouver-based designers—were laid out much like a functioning home, complete with bedroom, dining room and living room.

WoodReform builds its chic pieces (like this credenza) from found crates and pallets.
This Nicholas Purcell Furniture sofa base features built-in side tables.
These Stefanie Dueck utensils are works of sculptural art.
More pretty pallet creations from WoodReform.
Outdoors, pots from Pot Inc. were bursting with spring blooms.
Ana Isabel Textiles weavings hang on the wall, adding a beautiful texture to the white-and-glass space.
Even the artwork is contributed by Vancouverites—like this abstract painting by Lauren Mycroft.
Design-art objects from Lynn Falconer round out the selection.
