Wish We Were Here: 7 Winter Escapes
A fresh dump of snow in Vancouver has us dreaming of sunnier climes.

1. St. Lucia
The exotic island of St. Lucia is rich with verdant green volcanoes, black sand beaches and modern architecture.
Just north of the tourist Behemoth of Puerto Vallarta, there’s an entire coast that’s just waiting to be discovered, from the luxe resort town of Punta Mita to the laidback city of Sayulita.

5. Bora Bora
Bora Bora is a Polynesian paradise of delicate coral island, marine life and massive volcanic craters.
A new emphasis on art ups the city’s cultural game (because there’s more to Miami than white beaches and thumping nightlife).
It’s all party all the time in Cabo, but there are some surprising pockets of tranquility, too.
