Rounded blue arches and a translucent orange top capture ocean-sunrise calm in a playful, bio-resin table.
Usually, one needs to schedule a vacation to enjoy the experience of having coffee while watching the sun rise (or set) over the ocean, but Sadjéda Umar of Lakaz Studio captures that seaside-holiday feeling with her Crhaze coffee table design ($9,550). Gentle, rounded blue arches interlock with a softly translucent orange tabletop (all tool-free). The hand-crafted components are cast in a frosted, light-diffusing bio-resin, made in part from renewable plant material rather than entirely from petroleum, creating a moment of thoughtful stillness, despite its bold, geometric and playful design. The perfect spot and moment, in fact, to have a coffee before the day begins.
