The storied Italian line launches a swanky showroom in Vancouver's Livingspace.
Though Italian furniture maker Poltrona Frau turns an impressive 103 this year, a visit to its stylish new showroom at Vancouver’s Livingspace will leave you none the wiser. Designed by Poltrona Frau’s in-house studio, the bright—and decidedly modern—1,500-square foot space epitomizes the best of Italian-made design with a luxurious collection of leather furnishings, contemporary coffee tables and playful light fixtures. We got a sneak peek at the gorgeous space this past weekend and can confirm it stays true to the line’s elegance and meticulous craftsmanship—from the iconic 1919 armchair that carries its own unique history (the brass tray was originally designed for the Duke of Pistoia to use as an ashtray) to the living and breathing moss-covered wall that serves as a dramatic backdrop to the showroom’s contemporary living area. The Poltrona Frau showroom is now open at Livingspace, 1706 W 1st Avenue in Vancouver.
