The 10,000-square-foot showroom opens to the public Saturday, July 4.
When EQ3 Vancouver outgrew its Granville and 7th Avenue location, the team didn’t have to look very far for a bigger space—a few months of construction transformed three former retail locations on Granville and Broadway, just a couple of blocks away, into a sprawling, 10,000-square-foot new home for the Canadian brand. We took a sneak peak in advance of the grand opening this weekend. The space, designed by EQ3 creative director Thom Fougere, is bright and airy, a beautiful modern showcase for the furniture. Sunlight streams through six skylights and oversized south-facing windows, and warm hardwood lines the showroom floor. In the accessory boutique, plywood and playful light boxes display Sagaform dishware, cozy linens and quirky clocks alongside the in-store Marimekko boutique. The new EQ3 location opens Saturday, July 4.
