This bedroom by Fox Design is totally quirky, but totally cozy.
When designer Ben Leavitt of Fox Design was given carte blanche to redecorate his brother’s cookie-cutter Port Coquitlam townhouse, not much escaped his magic touch. But our favourite space in the home has to be the master bedroom. Here, you’ll still find Leavitt’s signature playful touches—just check out the resin-cast turtle shells he mounted above the bed–but there’s a cozy warmth here, too, thanks to a rich blue grasscloth wallpaper treatment. The bedroom is also a masterful demonstration of balancing high and low: the lush rug was sourced from Costco, while the tufted headboard was a custom piece by Leavitt, while an Ikea dresser sits next to a white leather Eames lounger.
