Introducing the 2026 WL Designers of the Year
Meet the 100 Western Canadian rooms and products in the running for a 2027 Western Living Design 25 award.
A bed shaped like a giant order of fries. A Vancouver restaurant that signals it’s open with a traditional Korean gate. A five-foot floor lamp that moonlights as sculpture. From the wonderfully unexpected to the quietly ingenious, this year’s Western Living Design 25 finalists offer plenty of reasons to look twice.
Now in its fourth year, the WL Design 25 celebrates individual projects rather than entire portfolios. This year’s 100 finalists—73 rooms and 27 products—showcase the creativity and craftsmanship of Western Canadian designers, from remarkable interiors to inventive furniture, lighting and everyday objects. Only 25 projects will make the final cut, with winners revealed in the March/April 2027 issue of Western Living and online. Until then, consider this your invitation to explore, get inspired and perhaps see your own space in a whole new light.
Congratulations to all our finalists! Browse the rooms and products below, organized alphabetically by studio name, or use the jump links to find what catches your eye.
