Ten percent of the net proceeds from the actress and singer’s new collaboration for the brand will go to support mental health services for young people.
In our recent Colour Issue, we featured a gorgeous condo from designer Ben Leavitt of PlaidFox Studio that was anything but shy in its colour selections: cornflower blue cabinets in the kitchen, and bold mustard millwork in the living room. And he said something that’s continued to stick with me: “I always say, once you live with colour, you realize you can’t live without it,” says Leavitt. “It just gives you so much happiness to live in a space that’s colourful.”
I’m down with anything that gives you happiness, and accessories are the perfect gateway into embracing bold colour in your space—and Our Place, maker of the Instagram-famous Always Pan is all-in with bold colour on their cookware. I fell in love with the pan just over a year ago and still use it every day (from poached eggs to pasta dishes to braised chicken—it really is always in rotation on my stove).
Their latest collaboration with actor and musician Selena Gomez features two new shades that she felt celebrated her heritage: a bold electric blue, Azul, and my favourite—a hot berry pink called Rosa. And even better —10% of net proceeds from this partnership will go to the Rare Impact Fund, the non-profit affiliate of Selena’s beauty brand, Rare Beauty, which is committed to expanding mental health services for young people.
The limited edition colours launch today, along with pretty pink drinking glasses, knives and plates in the colourways. Read more at the Our Place website.
