The beautiful modern home designed by iconic architect James Cheng was featured in a 1977 issue of Western Living.
In April 1977, Western Living ran a story on a North Vancouver home designed by architect James Cheng. It was called “Respect for Tradition.” And 46 years later, we’re honouring that mandate: the same home is now for sale, and it’s only fair that we share photos of the truly stunning listing.
The home, called Peninsula House, was originally designed for “a young family of fashion professionals” (I’m picturing a family photo that is very scarf-heavy) from Hong Kong. It’s an architectural beauty that’s now for sale for $3.125 million dollars. And whether or not you’re on the hunt for a 3,550-square-foot home with six bedrooms and four bathrooms, I suggest scrolling through the following gallery for a look into the window-happy forest oasis that is the Peninsula House—respect tradition!
