Abraham Chan

ACDO

Abraham Chan, founder of ACDO, is a Canadian designer whose life and work finds its roots across the world. His enduring ties across Asia and America serve to inform his work, as does his expansive background in design.

Holding a Masters of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design, Abraham began his own firm after a ten-year tenure at internationally acclaimed design firm Yabu Pushelberg. There, he worked on projects for Lane Crawford throughout China, the Louis Vuitton VIP Suites in Hong Kong, the Waldorf Astoria Beijing, and the One Ocean Condominiums in Miami. ACDO’s past and current projects include: Avenue Road Vancouver, Twitter Toronto, Four Seasons Whistler Renovation, and multiple luxury residential/development projects across Canada, New York and Asia.

Marie Soliman

Bergman Design House

Marie Soliman, Founder and Creative Director of Bergman Design House and Njord by Bergman is an award-winning designer with 16 years of design experience in the hospitality, commercial and residential sectors.

An avid visual artist as well as a designer, Marie’s keen eye for the timeless and the well-crafted has guided her on journeys around the world to spearhead such globally recognised projects as The Other house Hotel, South Kensington, The Other house Covent Garden, BXR London, We11, NOR hotel Norway, and Eagle Lodge in Botswana, among others.

Dubbed a “chameleon of design” by British GQ magazine, Marie’s vision stems from her belief in the vital spark of adventurous souls who are willing to take risks and try and test new ideas in the service of creating fabulous and engaging experiences. Her goal is always to bring fresh ideas to the fore, while revelling in — not fearing — the chaos of creation. 

Alvin Wayne

Alvin Wayne Interiors

Alvin Wayne is a New York City based interior designer who believes everyone deserves to live in luxury. He is known for his ability to infuse modern and timeless design with natural and organic elements with pops of personality.

Alvin’s design education and years of luxury retail has contributed to his overall design aesthetic, along with his love of music, art and fashion. Alvin Wayne Interiors (AWI) has been featured in Architectural Digest, NBC open house, HGTV, Apartment Therapy, Essence, Ebony magazine and Forbes.
