Pasta La Feasta, Calgary.
Apparently, October is National Pasta Month (which is officially an American thing, but we’re happy to observe). Nine Calgary restaurants are getting into the spirit with the first ever Pasta La Feasta, a pasta extravaganza benefitting The Alex Community Food Centre (CFC). The event kicks off this Friday, October 11.
From Friday until the 25th, participating restaurants are offering one unique signature pasta each, with $3 from each dish going to the CFC. As if that isn’t reason enough to fill your body with bolognese, each pasta dish also gets you an entry into Pasta La Feasta’s contest. Here’s the full list of restaurants and their do-good dishes:
The Alex Community Food Centre provides community members with cooking and gardening skills and an affordable produce market, and fosters health, hope and skills through food. Shut off your screens and feast on some real-life noods it’s Cavatelli for a cause.
