Photos: The Western Living Design 25 Finalists Party
Party pics from our latest WL Design Talks event at Luxe Appliance Studio
It was a full house at Luxe Appliance Studio on Thursday, June 13, as designers gathered for our latest WL Design Talk. Designer Chad Falkenberg of Falken Reynolds Interiors, our 2023 WL Interior Designer of the Year, shared his firm’s philosophy on what makes for enduring design—based on the Vitruvian triad, translated from Latin as strength, utility and beauty.
He had the crowd visualize the scenario of arriving home to a space that was designed just for you—a place to put what you’re carrying in so you can take your shoes off; a lighting system that was balanced for your needs at the touch of a button; everything in the kitchen is designed to be perfectly in reach. And the crowd was suitably swooning at the photos of their projects that exemplified all of that.
A huge thanks to the team at Luxe Appliance Studio and Thermador, whose pro chefs whipped up a feast for the crowd (along with the buzzed-about massive cookies from local cookie marker extradordinaire, Chomp.) See more of our mix and mingle, below!
As always, it was great to see so many familiar faces and all of the new folks, too. Thanks for attending – and see you at our next one in the fall!
