The best of Vancouver's maker scene to be highlighted in the July issue of Vancouver magazine.
It’s no secret that Vancouver is bursting with creative talent: between the never-ending schedule of craft shows, farmers markets and pop-up shops, our city’s maker culture has never been more prominent. And our sister publication, Vancouver magazine, is launching a brand new Made in Vancouver awards program, shining a light on the homegrown makers who are taking things to the next level.
With six categories selected to encompass the products Vancouverites love most (Food, Drink, Style, Beauty, Fitness, Home) and one more to cover anything else (Wildcard!), the editors of Vancouver Magazine aim to celebrate a diverse collection of the city’s best locally produced goods, from artisanal hot sauces to handcrafted bags to eco-chic outerwear.
VanMag’s Made in Vancouver Awards are your chance to share your work with their esteemed judges and editorial team, and winners will be profiled the July/August issue of the magazine. Plus, finalists will be invited to participate in an exclusive pop-up Made in Vancouver this fall.
Think you’ve got the goods to impress the judging panel? They’re accepting submissions until February 15, so apply today and show them what you’ve got.
