The first phase in Bassano’s four-tower master plan is a 43-storey tower that provides 318 one- to three-bedroom homes—and it’s selling now.
Imagine Italian elegance, family tradition and intimate, progressive living all in one meticulously designed master-planned community. This is Bassano—an intimate urban village designed by Boffo Developments, bringing Italian traditions to modern living in the Brentwood neighbourhood of Burnaby.
Bassano is more than a project—it is a thoughtful legacy of craftsmanship and design that epitomizes Italian elegance. The first phase in the four-tower plan features a 43-storey tower that provides spacious 318 one- to three-bedroom homes.
With interiors designed by Scott Trepp and his ingenious team at Trepp Design Inc., Bassano offers an authentic ‘Made in Italy’ experience. Italian influence is evident throughout the development, from the architectural intent and finishing materials, to the unparalleled craftsmanship, exceptional livability and design standards that characterize Bassano and all Boffo homes.
Kitchen and bathroom fixtures from Gessi, an Italian brand typically used in single-family homes, are complemented by large-format Italian slab backsplashes, through which veins of porcelain extend seamlessly behind the open shelving in perfect alignment. Imported custom cabinetry and bespoke wardrobe systems are crafted with nuanced finishes, finessed for touch.
Homeowners can individualize their spaces with a choice of two colour palettes—Chiaro (light) and Scuro (dark)—each a reflection of quintessential Italian style. Combined, the words form “chiaroscuro”, an emotive Renaissance painting technique used to enhance tonal contrast. The “Chiaro” palette is reminiscent of a cappuccino, while “Scuro” offers more contrast and drama, including Bertazzoni’s newly released “Carbonio” finish on the oven.
Further custom options include a choice of matte black or polished chrome Gessi fixtures; a dining height or counter height custom table made from quartz countertop and kitchen cabinetry material; and gas or induction cooktop.
The project’s amenity design centred on cultivating several welcoming indoor and outdoor gathering spaces to draw family and friends together. Families can make memories at a ground-level indoor/outdoor lounge that flows into expansive park space, reminiscent of an Italian piazza, where people might gather for an espresso or glass of wine and enjoy each other’s company in the open air.
Designed to enhance social connection and wellness, amenities include a full-service concierge, a work-share lounge and an expansive health club with yoga studio, steam room and sauna, plus two guest suites and a 43rd-level rooftop lounge with a 3,800-square-foot terrace and panoramic views. A 23,000-square-foot park with a perimeter pathway offers the perfect setting for a morning walk or quiet solitude.
Bassano tells a story. It draws from historical family traditions and honours Boffo’s history, and is named after Bassano del Grappa, a village in northern Italy that is cherished by the Boffo family. Boffo built its first homes in Burnaby over 50 years ago—Bassano celebrates Boffo’s return to the area and promises to forge a lasting legacy for the region, the Boffo family and homeowners.
Bassano is now selling. Contact [email protected] or 604.456.0688 or visit the Bassano Sales Gallery at 2100 Springer Avenue in Burnaby, BC, open daily from 12-5 p.m.
