Vote Now! Announcing the Finalists for Our 2025 WL Home of the Year

It’s been a fantastic year of incredible homes in Western Living—and we love nothing more than to shine a spotlight once again on some of the best of the year. And our Western Living Home of the Year offers the chance to just that: it’s our annual celebration of our readers’ very favourite home—and the excellent design team behind it—that we published in Western Living or westernliving.ca in the past year.

Below are the finalists in this year’s competition, with designs that range from a light-filled Whistler home, to a charming rental in Vancouver’s West End, to a moody manor-inspired design in Calgary’s Varsity Estates.

And this is where you come in: you’ll have until 11:59 p.m. on December 9, 2025, to vote in the top 5 finalists.

You’ll be able to vote once per day–so make your vote count!

Then, tune in on December 10, when we’ll be announcing the top 5 Homes of the Year. From there (you guessed it), you can vote for the home you think is the greatest.
