Bring bold, sherbet colours into the kitchen with linen towels from Studiopatró.
Not unlike throw pillows in the living room, tea towels in the kitchen are an easy way to freshen up the room each season. And San Francisco-based Studiopatró creates lovely, modern designs for just such a thing. Made from linen (a naturally sustainable material) sourced in the Netherlands and Eastern Europe, the tea towels are individually hand printed with water-based inks, and grow softer with each use. Given that pink and orange are my go-to summer colours, I love the oyster linen collection: designed to go mix and match in a variety of patterns.Studio Patró linens, from $24, available in North Vancouver at Delish General Store, delishgeneralstore.bigcartel.com, and in Calgary at Inspirati, inspirati.ca; studiopatro.com. The oyster collection from Studiopatro is designed to be mixed and matched.
