Western Living Design Week is almost here! Here's one of my favourites from IDSwest, the closing party to a stellar week.
We’re just days away from the kick off of Western Living Design Week, our Designers of the Year awards and Vancouver Design Week—so many exciting things in just 10 days! It all wraps up with IDSwest on September 26 to 28, where I’ll be scouting for new finds for the magazine, like this gorgeous new chair from Designers of the Year finalist Gamla. Made of solid sustainably harvested walnut with solid brass inlays, it’s a modernist piece that could work well in a traditional setting too. (And if you pop by IDSwest, be sure to visit our booth: you’ll have a chance to get up close and personal with many of our Designers of the Year winners and finalists).Gamla S2 dining chair, from $1,550, gamla.ca
