HAY celebrates colour in this soon-to-launch collaboration.
Every once in a while, a pairing you didn’t know you needed comes into your life. Movie popcorn topped with M&Ms. Dua Lipa and Elton John. And now? Danish modern brand HAY and iconic furniture brand Herman Miller.
HAY’s playful and colourful sensibility has thoughtfully reimagined eight classic Eames designs, from the Modern Plastic Shell chair to the Hang-It-All. And our first preview of the collection will be thanks to Inform—which will be exclusively carrying the line in Canada—at IDS Vancouver this coming Thursday, September 22 and on through the weekend. The collection presents a unique vision of colour along with an evolution of conscious materials.
Here’s hoping it’s the start of even more collaborations between the two brands (what I’d give for an Egg chair in one of HAY’s great fabrics!)—but until you get a chance to sit in one of these beauties at IDS this weekend, here’s a sneak peek of a few pieces in the collection.
