Author Julia Dilworth brings her book West Coast North to life in a new live interview series at Provide Design Gallery beginning July 18.
When author (and former WL editor) Julia Dilworth set out to write her coffee table book West Coast North, she was aiming to collect the work and wisdom of the Pacific Northwest’s top design talent in one beautiful tome. But the truth is, pages can’t contain all the incredible insights from our region’s design leaders–and so Dilworth is teaming up with Provide Design Gallery to bring the book to life in a new conversation series at the Armoury District boutique.
The first of a planned ongoing series of events will take place July 18, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., featuring designers Denise Ashmore (Project 22 Design), Stephanie Brown (Stephanie Brown Inc.) and Sophie Burke (Sophie Burke Design) in conversation with Dilworth. (Psst, ICYMI: all three are finalists for our 2023 Designers of the Year awards.) The interior designers will share insights on decor essentials, reveal favourite local makers and dig into the essential details that make for a well-designed home.
Connect with the local design community at Provide Design Gallery over canapés and wine, and (speaking of essentials for a well-designed home) enter to win a copy of West Coast North to beautify your own coffee table.
Reserve your spot at the free event here.
West Coast North Inside Design Series at Provide Design Gallery July 18, 2023, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.; future dates TBD 101-1636 W 2nd Ave., Vancouver, providehome.com
