Consider this our latest design shopping list: 10 furniture, lighting and decor pieces that caught our eye for their craftsmanship, clever details or sheer ability to make us stop scrolling. From a hand-etched walnut mirror and a Vancouver-designed console to an IKEA cabinet that looks decidedly un-flat-pack, here’s what we’re bookmarking right now.

1. Reflect On It: Hinterland’s Oxbow Mirror

Try not to get distracted by the beautiful solid-walnut frame or hand-etched silver surface of Vancouver-based Hinterland’s Oxbow mirror as you’re checking your hair on the way out the door. Its curved form takes inspiration from the shape of an oxbow lake, pairing bent American black walnut with a hand-etched silver mirror.

There’s always so much to love about IKEA’s design-focused PS collections, and the 2026 edition is no exception—this handwoven pine-veneer cabinet ($499), for instance, is pure craftsmanship in a flat-pack package.

To be frank, the Sam Son low chair ($1,729) stopped us in our tracks. We can’t resist a statement indoor-outdoor armchair that happily reminds us of a macaroni noodle. We’re only human.
