Wish We Were Here: 7 Winter Escapes

A fresh dump of snow in Vancouver has us dreaming of sunnier climes.

We’re not on the beach right now, but if we stare at these tropical destinations from the WL archives long enough, we can maybe pretend that this morning’s snowfall was a figment of the imagination.

1. St. Lucia

The exotic island of St. Lucia is rich with verdant green volcanoes, black sand beaches and modern architecture.

2. Riviera Nayarit

Just north of the tourist Behemoth of Puerto Vallarta, there’s an entire coast that’s just waiting to be discovered, from the luxe resort town of Punta Mita to the laidback city of Sayulita.
