We’re design lovers here at Western Living. Us editors spend our days gushing over gorgeous renos, amazed by chic sofas and just overall obsessed with the stunning creations of the Western Canadian design community.

But we’ve had a revelation of sorts. There’s only one thing that could possibly make these interiors even better: pets. So we’ve decided to run our very own pet photo contest.

The guidelines are simple: send us a photo of your pet in their favourite room in your house. Whether it’s your cockateel perched on your post-war fireplace, or your ferret cozied up at the breakfast nook, we want to see it! We’re looking to combine the two best things after all—adorable animals and beautiful homes. The winning photo has a chance to be featured here on westernliving.ca as well as on our Instagram—plus the winner will receive a $100 Cadillac Fairview gift card.

At the end, you’ll be asked for your email. But don’t fret—we won’t use your information again—unless you sign up for our newsletter (which, you’re missing out on if you’re not already subscribed). Otherwise, all you’ll receive is an email thanking you for completing this survey.

The contest runs until September 12, at 11:59 p.m. PST. The winner will be announced by September 13.  We notify the winner directly through an @canadawide.com email. Do not give out any of your information to other emails or accounts claiming to be coordinating for us.⁠
