Meet this year's finalists shaping the future of Western Canadian design.
Today’s the day: meet the finalists for the 2026 Western Living Designers of the Year Awards.
Now in its 19th year, our annual competition celebrates the architects, interior designers, landscape designers, furniture designers, industrial designers and makers shaping Western Canadian design. This year’s finalists were announced live at Thermador in Vancouver on June 17.
The category winners will be featured in the September issue of Western Living and online at westernliving.ca. We’ll also celebrate them at our annual Designers of the Year Awards event on September 10, 2026, at Inform in Vancouver.
Every finalist is also automatically entered in the 2026 Western Living People’s Choice Awards, presented by Thermador. Voting opens this summer, giving you the chance to choose the standout project in each category.
The People’s Choice winners will be announced live on stage at the Designers of the Year Awards event on September 10. We’ll also present this year’s Icons Award, honouring a leader whose mentorship and influence have helped shape Western Canada’s design community.
