Amanda Hamilton's primary bath design reveals itself in dramatic fashion through custom fluted glass doors, with a view to the lake outside the windows.
Amanda Hamilton is the only designer this year to secure two WL Design 25 wins, though it’s hardly surprising given the strength of her projects. This primary bath reveals itself in dramatic fashion through custom fluted glass doors, with a view to the lake outside the windows.
The space is all angles and curves: a geometric marble floor is paired with plaster-clad walls, a gorgeous soaker tub, soft gauzy drapery, an organic bouclé-clad bench and warm, beachy-toned millwork. But there’s drama just around the corner, too, where the walk-in shower features a striking navy and sage-colour stone (left) that mimics the movement of water. Brass fixtures throughout add a warm counterpoint to the cool blues and greys of the stone. It’s a space that demands attention—and time well spent in it.
