When we named them among our 2019 Foodies of the Year, distillers Jason and Alayne MacIsaac of Sooke’s excellent Sheringham Distillery were kind enough to share this recipe for a gin-based cocktail that’s going to blow your after-work G&T out of the water.

If now is not the time to level up your home bartending game, when is?

Sheringham Cherub Cocktail from Sheringham Distillery

1½ oz Sheringham Seaside Gin
½ oz St-Germain elderflower liqueur
¾ oz sparkling elderflower juice
¼ oz maple syrup
¼ oz lemon juice
½ oz loganberry or strawberry purée

Combine ingredients over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
