Give back to Mother Nature by helping out at this year's 5th Annual Ivy Pull in Stanley Park!
With reason, Vancouverites are insanely proud to call Stanley Park their own. How many cities can say they have an enormous green landscape right in their downtown? Sadly, though, the Ivy kind of ruins the effect. Wildlife doesn’t flourish when that stuff’s everywhere around it. Plus, who likes Ivy anyway? On May 12, from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., Genuine Health will be hosting the Fifth Annual Ivy Pull in Stanley Park. You do get a free lunch and all proceeds and donations go to the Stanley Park Ecology Society. The park is almost perfect as is—in part because of last year’s 12 Ivy pulling volunteers and this year’s anticipated 26. Let’s help out and keep it that way! (Could be fun!)
Where: Stanley Park (meet at the Vancouver Convention Centre’s East Building)When: Thursday, May 12 (12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.)RSVP: Email [email protected] to confirm and get more details!
