Beetroot is a bold and organic shade that's a great left turn from greener 2022 colour trends. (Plus, we're giving one away!)
As we reported a few months ago, most of the 2022 Colours of the Year from paint companies have centered around green: signifying rebirth and growth, pale greens are both soothing and fresh. All in all, the choice is no surprise given the last couple of years.
But KitchenAid has gone in a different direction altogether, and we’re here for it. “Beetroot,” the 2022 KitchenAid Colour of the Year, is both vibrant and organicit is, after all, inspired by that earthy root vegetable. It’s available on their small appliances, including the Artisan Series Standmixer and K400 Blender.
“Looking at the outside of the beet, youd never know the brightness concealed within, says Jessica McConnell, director of advanced design at Whirlpool. “When sliced open, it reveals extraordinary vibrance inside. The rich magenta with lush satin finish makes every day more vibrant with a pop of energizing colour.”
And in celebration of this sweet beet shadewhich officially launches todaywe’ve got a K400 Blender to give away!
