Herschel Supply's Re-Sail Program just launched.
For more than three months, the not-for-profit Vancouver Aquarium, an Ocean Wise initiative, has had to shutter its doors due to COVID-19. They’re reopening this Friday, but with the income loss and care expenses exceeding $1 million dollars a month, it’s going to be hard to stay afloat at limited capacity.
This is where Herschel Supply Company is stepping in. The Vancouver-based company is o-fish-ally announcing the launch of their new limited edition Re-Sail Program, created in support of the Vancouver Aquarium.
Each item in this limited series is one-of-a-kind and thoughtfully created in their Vancouver workshop using only repurposed Herschel Supply materials and recycled sails from the Vancouver Sailing Club that would have otherwise be discarded in the landfill.
As a Vancouver-based company ourselves, we're incredibly proud to support Ocean Wise and the Vancouver Aquarium during this challenging time, says Jamie Cormack, Herschel Supply Co-Founder.
Designed for life at home, the Vancouver-based travel and lifestyle company created these functional accessories like utility aprons, wall organizers, pencil cases, and small and large bucket bags.
All of the proceeds from this Re-Sail Program are being donated to the Vancouver Aquarium, so they can continue to do the work they have been doing since 1956.
