I just did. The metal-topped Stockholm from Punt will have you finally embracing warm metals for good.
On a recent visit to Calgary, I popped into architect Robert Pashuk’s gem of a store, Pomp & Circumstance. It’s a highly curated space—literally every line he carries is gorgeous, from throw pillows from Teixidors, to lighting from Iacoli & McAllister, to accessories from Menu. And I absolutely loved this new piece from the Spanish furniture company, Punt. Each piece in the Stockholm line of sideboards and credenzas is crafted from warm wood—lined all through the pull-free drawers—and topped with anodized aluminum in either gold or copper, the latter in a rosy shade. It’s the latter that makes the design so unique: a polished, metallic surface on a refined, midcentury-design. Gorgeous in any room, but especially a master bedroom.Stockholm credenza by Punt, $6,600, available at Pomp & Circumstance in Calgary, pompandcircumstance.ca
