Announcing the Finalists for the 2025 Western Living Design 25 Awards
Our annual celebration of Western Canada's best designers is online this year... and you're invited.
Much like postal workers vow to not let sleet nor rain nor snow stop them from delivering your packages, the editors at Western Living are committed to their own solemn pledge: “Never stop celebrating Western Canada’s amazing design talentpandemic or no pandemic.”
And so, while this year we obviously can’t celebrate our Designers of the Year winners in-person with our usual big bash, we’re committed to toasting these brilliant design minds in whatever other ways we can. There are our winner profiles that appear here online and in the latest issue of the magazine, of course, but we’re also pleased to host a virtual awards party on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. PDT as part of IDS Vancouver.
Grab a glass of something bubbly, put on your best galawear (or pyjama pantsyou do you), and join us for an exclusive live stream that brings all of our DOTY winners to the screen. We’ll be connecting with winning architects, landscape designers, furniture designers from Winnipeg to Bowen Island and everywhere in-between, to present them with their awards and hear their words for the design community.
One benefit of going digital this year? These dispatches will be coming in from the designers’ own workshops, studios, and project sites, for an intimate look into their worlds and their work. It’s a DOTY celebration like no other.
Western Living‘s Virtual Designers of the Year Awards are free to watch with your IDS Vancouver Digital Fair Registration. Here’s how to sign up:
