You’ve got one weekend left of summer: better make it count. Luckily, Foodie of the Year and award-winning mixologist Kaitlyn Stewart is here to help, sharing a trio of elevated cocktail recipes to take you from the patio to morning-after brunch.
1 oz Tanqueray gin½ oz ginger liqueur½ oz sweet vermouth½ oz lemon juice2 oz Earl Grey teaHandful of mint1 dash Bittered Sling Lem-Marrakech bitters
Place ingredients in a shaker tin and shake for 7 to 10 seconds. Strain over fresh ice into a Collins glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel and sprig of mint.
This recipe can also be doubled/tripled to be served as a punch or in a pitcher.
1½ oz Zacapa rum½ oz Mia Amata amaroBar spoon Chartreuse7 drops chocolate bitters7 drops Bittered Sling Lem-Marrakech bitters
Place all ingredients in a mixing glass and mix for 10 to 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a lemon wheel.
1 oz Ketel One vodka½ oz amaro¼ oz Tia MariaPinch of citric acid1 dash Bittered Sling Lem-Marrakech bittersGinger beer
Place all ingredients except the ginger beer in a shaker tin and shake for 7 to 10 seconds. Strain over crushed ice into a copper mug and top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lemon twist and a coffee bean.
