Four super-simple dishes to make summer entertaining a breeze.
We learned a few things from photographing this laid-back Okanagan dinner party for our June issue: the sunlight there seems to make everything look magical; some farmers are willing to trade their cherry tomatoes for a sweet pair of kicks; and mealtime should always be low-key. That means sticking to simple, fresh ingredienct, keeping the menu pared down to appetizers you can snack on with one hand (the other one is for your wine glass, of course) and down-to-earth mains that make the most of fresh garden herbs. Test out this menu for yourself at your next summer get-together.
