We love to celebrate great Western Canadian design at Western Living, and we introduced our WL Home of the Year competition a few years ago to do just that: celebrate our readers’ very favourite home—and the excellent design team behind it—that we published in Western Living or westernliving.ca in the past year.

Below are the finalists in this year’s competition, with designs that range from a whimsical renovation on a West Vancouver home, to a moody and masculine home in Calgary, to a very holiday-forward celebration of a classic Arthur Erickson building in Vancouver.

And this is where you come in: you’ll have until 11:59 pm on December 1, 2024 to vote in the top 5 finalists.

You’ll be able to vote once per day – so make your vote count!

Then, tune in on December 2, when we’ll be announcing the top 5 Homes of the Year. From there (you guessed it) you can vote for the home you think is the greatest.

And now, on to the top Western Living homes of 2024.

Peruse through the finalist list below, then scroll to the bottom to VOTE NOW!
