Editor's Pick
Our editor-in-chief's favourite trend comes to the kitchen.
My favourite trend over the last couple of years has been the ombre: that soft transition of colour from light to dark that’s appeared on everything from hair colour to home design (and cakes too.) I popped into Indigo’s spring preview last week, and bee-lined for these ombre canisters for my kitchen. It’s a vintage room that I’m transitioning from the previous owner’s bold yellow, to a more graphic black and white (gloss-black cabinets, white walls). These soft hued, matte-finish canisters will be perfect for a spot of colour in the room—and right on trend.Ombre Canisters, from $12.50, available at Chapters/Indigo, chapters.indigo.ca.
