These leather poufs add flexible (and pretty) seating options to a room.
As you might imagine, one of the best things about working for this magazine is that when I have a design dilemma, I’m surrounded by, oh, about a thousand solutions. Current design dilemma: increasing the amount of seating I have in my living room without crowding out the furniture that’s already there. I’m not colour shy—my sofa is red—and I have particular affection for combining bold colours together. These handmade Moroccan poufs from the Cross—a top seller for one of Vancouver’s prettiest furniture design stores—appeal to my colourful side, while their stash-and-go size means I could stack a couple out of the way when they’re not in use. (And they make a great footstool too, now that I’m on to binge-watching 24. Yes, I’m a few years behind on that one.)Moroccan leather poufs, $395, available at The Cross Decor and Design, thecrossdesign.com
