New store in South Granville offers beautifully designed gifts, home décor and custom tiles.
From the owners of World Mosaic, a South Granville veteran for over 40 years, comes the well-curated design shop Goodge Place. Inspired by the artisan craftsmanship she discovered on her travels across Europe for work while living in London, co-founder Emily McLean has returned to Vancouver eager to share her finds, and now Goodge Place (tucked away just off the corner of 8th and Granville) offers a variety of high-end pieces for the home and smart personal accessories, sourced from all across the globe. In addition to stocking highly sought after art and design brands, including House of Hackney, Jake Phipps, and Dr. Vranjes Home Fragrances, Goodge Place features pieces from many local Vancouver designers and artists. With an in-store coffee bar (serving up a decent espresso alongside treats from Cadeaux Bakery), a spacious tile gallery, and a design lab that can be rented out to creatives for private meetings, Emily and her mother Patricia (the other co-founder and owner of World Mosaic) have created an environment where people can enjoy beautiful items in a beautiful space.Goodge Place 1523 W. 8th Avenue, Vancouver 604-714-1133
