(Hint: it's an opportunity to shop for knives and kitchenware that's been sourced directly from Japan!)
Knife aficionados, get ready: Knifewear‘s bi-annual Garage Sale returns next month (November 6 to 12), offering an exclusive collection of unique and uber-sharp Japanese knives at can’t-miss prices.Twice a year, Knifewear owner and CEO Kevin Kent travels to Japan to stock-up for the sale; he meets with apprentice blacksmiths and renowned knife makers to bring back a range of high-quality blades to his stores in Canada. Like any garage sale, you won’t know exactly what’s up for grabs until you get there, but the Garage Sale typically includes one-of-a-kind prototypes, retired/repaired sample knives and other unique items from Japan.Customers eager to see what’s up for grabs can tune in for a Facebook Live event on November 1 at 7:00 p.m MST, during which time Kent will give a preview of the sale goods and answer viewer questions about Japanese knives.
When: November 6 to 12Where: All Knifewear locations (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa) and online
Wednesday, November 1, 7:00 p.m. MST, facebook.com/knifewear
