Fjallraven Opens Pop-Up Shop in Vancouver’s Gastown

Swedish outdoor heritage brand, Fjallraven, launched their first Canadian Pop-Up shop in Vancouver’s Chinatown last week. Open til December 31, the store focuses on the more fashionable side of the brand, including cult-fave Kanken bag (its waterproof fabric a hit with both the school-age and the not-so-school age), the signature Greeland jacket and a few unisex accessories (toques in time for Christmas!).Fjallraven Pop-Up Shop, 434 Columbia Street

The Fjallraven Pop-Up shop in Chinatown is the store’s first in Canada.

The stock will feature its more fashion-forward designs, including the classic Kanken bags and waxed coats for both men and women.

The Kanken bag, first designed for Swedish school children, has become a cult favourite for adults too, and is available in over 50 colours.

The crew from Fjallraven had just 24 hours to set up the shop, which includes a faux “tree” in its midst.
